See whether you are ready to bid — before you commit

Free Tender Readiness Assessment for UK SMEs

Most lost tenders are lost before the response is written — the bidder simply was not ready. The BidPilot Tender Readiness Assessment reads your tender pack and returns a structured view of the deadlines, gateways, evaluation weighting and risks, so your team can answer one question honestly: are we ready to bid this?

How the Tender Readiness Assessment works

Step 1

Upload the tender pack

ITT, PQQ, framework call-off or RFP — PDF or DOCX, up to a 200-page pack.

Step 2

BidPilot structures the readiness brief

Deadlines, mandatory accreditations, evaluation criteria, scored sections and commercial risks are extracted and laid out side by side.

Step 3

Run the readiness conversation

Use the structured brief to walk your bid, commercial and operational leads through a 30-minute readiness review — with the gaps already visible.

Tender Readiness Assessment — FAQs

How is this different from the Bid/No-Bid Tool?

The Bid/No-Bid Tool focuses on the go/no-go call itself. The Readiness Assessment focuses on the readiness conversation that follows — what would we need in place to bid this well, and do we have it? Many teams use both: bid/no-bid first to qualify, then readiness to plan.

Who should be in the readiness conversation?

Typically the bid lead, a commercial owner, an operational owner (delivery / clinical / technical), and sign-off from the MD or commercial director. The structured brief means the meeting can be 30 minutes, not 90.

What if we are not ready?

That is the point of the assessment — to surface the gap before it costs you a bid-writing week. Teams that are not ready typically choose to no-bid, partner with another supplier, or close the gap on the next bid cycle.
